The name “Arboretum” is an homage to northeast D.C.’s beloved National Arboretum, a rejuvenating oasis of natural beauty that practically borders the Small Planes roastery. We love taking a stroll in the National Arboretum as a quick break from busy production days and we think that the pleasing, balanced flavors of our Arboretum blend evoke the harmony of its botanical gardens. Arboretum is designed to be easy-drinking, accessible, and comforting. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for espresso-and-milk preparations, batch brewed filter coffee, iced coffee, and home brewing. While specific flavors will vary as we rotate fresh crop components in and out of the blend, the qualitative experience of enjoying Arboretum remains consistent.
