The village of Aricha is locate in the Mecka of coffee Yirgacheffe, Ethiopa. Here, Faysel Abdosh runs the processing station Adorsi since 2018. When he did, he immediately made sure that the village got access to clean water, electricity and proper roads. This helps the coffee production profoundly and the trust the producers put in Faysel is tremendous. During the spring of 2019 he also expanded the school of Molicha and now there is room for over 500 students whom are able to get an education thanks to the profits made from coffee. Surrounding the farm around 700 farmers live and work together with their families. The area Aricha is divided into several lots. Gersi, which is one of Faysel’s favourites, is situated 2000 metres above sea level. Here they grew the typical Ethiopian variety heirloom and sundry the cherries carefully in different stages to ensure an even drying and clean, sweet taste. The farm is run meticulously with shade trees and an organic ecosystem. Sustainable coffee is a given, to Faysel.
