About This Coffee

One of our favorite lots from last year was from Macario Garcia's farm, El Alamo in Oaxaca Mexico. So we are thrilled once again to share with you another stunning lot from Macario again this year! As with last year, Macario finds a way to push fermentation to just the right amount of fruit forward deliciousness without the heavy grape flavors and dry mouthfeel associated with over-fermentation. This year we are smelling dark fruit like cherry in the aromatics and notes of bosc pear and guava in the cup. Once again, really delicious coffee, once again we tip our hats to Macario's ability to deliver some of the best coffee to be found in Mexico. Enjoy!
