Dulcinea is Café Integral’s flagship espresso blend. It is, however, a varying edition-based offering. It will shift and change along with the seasons and with new arrivals from fresh crop coffees. Nebulous and enchanting, Dulcinea aims to delight in the absolute. This iteration follows our quintessential use of natural and honey process coffees to being dimension, breadth and complexity to the washed base of our blend. The washed coffee is a classic Dipilto profile, from a farm located in the volcanic clays of the “Laguna” hamlet. The coffee is classic, indeed, with its notes of red cherries, citrus, and a nutty dark chocolate backbone - but it provides ample sweetness and floral aromas that give some hints of blossoms and hazelnut. The natural coffee in this case is a fairly assertive one from the dry and warm altitudes of San Fernando with notes of dried plums, guava jam, and cacao nibs. The blend remains light on its feet, dynamic and balanced for a provocative and approachable espresso. We think you'll love this one - it's enjoyable, versatile, and easy to work with!
