Glitch Coffee & Roasters

GLITCH has added a new lineup of coffee beans using an innovative process from Colombia's La Loma farm, which has been around for a long time! The purification method is âTropical Washedâ. It is a process to add the natural taste of fruits by adding molasses and sugar at the beginning of fermentation. Juicy sweetness reminiscent of pineapple and refreshing aroma like mint. The change in taste due to temperature changes is also excellent. Enjoy the mellow flavors associated with various tropical fruits. [About the Process] Uses Purple Caturra, which has a high sugar content and is suitable for special refining. Molasses and sugar are added to the place where the microorganisms start to ferment the fruit as a medium to activate the action of the microorganisms and build a substrate. By fermenting coffee and substrate for about 150 hours, it adds a natural flavor derived from fruits without disturbing the original flavor of Purple Caturra. ⥠The coffee is then fermented for 150 hours with the fruit mix. This will not alter or contaminate the original Purple Caturra flavor, but it will take the notes of the fruits.
