About This Coffee

The Marshell varietal by Farmer Grimanés Morales Lizana from the province of San Ignacio in Cajamarca took the top prize with a 92.28 score for a washed coffee from the farm La Lucuma. The coffee is an unidentified Bourbon mutation that was named Marshell ( https://dailycoffeenews.com/2019/11/06/many-varieties-shine-at-the-third-peru-cup-of-excellence-in-jaen/ ) The variety has now slowly started to spread around Peru. It has reached producers like the Flores Family from "Finca El Morito". It was a first for the Flores family & the Canadian market!
