About This Coffee
La Miel founded by award winning producer Yulisa Ester Carhuallocllo and her husband, Jeremias Chinguel Huancas, have been cultivating some of the best coffees recently coming out of Peru. The farm is named after the bees they keep which produces honey and helps to pollinate the coffee blossoms as well as the guava and orange trees growing there. La Miel grows mostly Bourbon, Caturra, and Geisha. This particular Geisha lot offers an abundance of sweet citrus, tea like florals and stone fruit. We taste clearly defined grapefruit, jasmine and apricot.
