Rob says: Before our regular partner Kenyacof sends us a shitload of great coffees from the 2024 crop, we start off the new season with the AB lot called BARAGWI. Baragwi is named after the cooperative the coffee comes from, while Muchagara is one of the oldest wet processing stations in Kirinyaga District. Situated in a highly fertile area, Muchagara covers a substantial space near the local village. With more than 1500 members, 200 drying tables, several tiled fermentation tanks, and grading channels, it continues to produce remarkably expressive, high-quality coffees even though its infrastructure is not always in the best shape.
