Arriving for the chilly months is a new coffee from Nicaragua. With balanced sweetness, heavy chocolate cake and candied pecan vibes, this is the perfect coffee for sitting on the front porch (or by the fireplace) in your favorite sweater while watching the snowfall. Even in warmer climates, where there is no snow, but that A/C is cranked a touch too high, this coffee still warms the soul. We're here for it. This incredible coffee is produced in the municipality of Jinotega and is named for a local reserve, the Natural Reserve Cerro Datanlí - El Diablo. The name Datanlí comes from an indigenous word meaning "where water falls." This region is one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems in the country and is known for its climate seemingly made for coffee, its rich forests, and its mountain spring waterfalls.
