Degassing: we recommend degassing this coffee unopened for at least 45days. Best from 50days to 70days post roast. Alto del Obispo terroir and Colombia Caturra Our Colombia Caturra of this year is a classical yet elegant Caturra from Alto del Obispo area! We are always looking to source a bright and juicy Caturra with transparent vibes with a certain clean cup. This time we sourced a pretty enjoyable citrusy Caturra! It's been 3 years since we offered Alto del Obispo coffee last time(it was San Agustin Pink Bourbon. An absolutely stunning coffee!). Back in 2019, it was a pretty good Variedad Colombia from this Esperanza farm, the very first time we tried Alto del Obispo terroir. Since then, we've been following those coffees produced in this region annually. We are so pleased to get an impeccable Caturra from our favorite farm! Cupping review Dreamy on all front, this Caturra has everything we look for in a Colombia Caturra lot: Transparent, clean, bright and with delicate citrus flavors. In the cup, expect elegant flavors of yuzu citrus followed by notes of lemongrass and delicate clementine in the finish.
