About This Coffee

We fell in love with this coffee for its pure taste, balance and wonderful raspberry aroma. You can find raspberries and dried apricots in the taste. Tejao is a limited washed coffee, which this year was only sixteen 35 kg bags! It is a blend of the best tasting coffees from the Huautla region, La Cañada during the harvest in 2021. In La Cañada, farmers usually grow coffee on average only half a hectare of land. The traditional variety is the original Typica grown organically and in the shade. The yield from the farms is very low and Tejao is a blend of coffees from 20 farmers with a score of 86+. 10 people worked to select the 20 best farms and tasted 284 different coffees from the highest farms in La Cañada!
