We taste notes of Milky Way candy bar, mixed berries, and soft peach. Space Cowboy is a rotating seasonal microlot that we're particularly excited about. Something surprising. Something different. Something eye-opening. Basically the David Bowie of coffees. Right now it's a natural process Ethiopian Yirgacheffe from Mrs. Zenebech Ageze, a member of the Cafe Imports Small Farmers Project, which helps ensure transparency and allows producers more control over pricing and contracts. Mrs. Zenebech’s farm is about 5 hectares (12 acres) and planted with heirloom Ethiopian varieties. During harvest season, ripe cherries are carefully hand picked, sorted, and then placed on raised beds where they are turned and dried in the sun. This style of processing (called “natural”) generally yields a complex and choco-fruity cup. We love it when we find naturals like this one - sweet, balanced, and not overly zingy.
