About This Coffee

The Guatemala El Zapote coffee beans come from the plantation of Hernin Pérez, together with The Coffee Quest he has put together a unique blend of Catuai and Bourbon varieties of his plantation. The coffee grows at an altitude of 1500-1900 meters. The processing method is Washed, resulting in a complex coffee with flavor notes of hazelnut, caramel and apple. Finca El Zapote is located right on the border of Guatemala and Mexico in a remote town of Agua Dulce. Agua Dulce is the perfect location for the extension of coffee beans. At an altitude of 1500-1900 meters, the temperature is low enough to allow the coffee beans to mature slowly and also ensures a slow drying process. Finca El Zapote is about 45 hectares, 42ha of which 42ha is reserved for the extension of coffee beans. The rest of the plantation is a nature reserve. The nature reserve is essential for the plantation ecosystem.
