About This Coffee
This coffee comes from producer Leon Christianakis and his farm, Acacia Hills, in Karatu, Tanzania. When we cupped this coffee it was a must buy - a unique, intensely floral coffee from an origin we haven't bought from previously. The coffee cherry once picked, is de-pulped in the evening and then left to openly ferment for 12-13 hours before drying. This results in the coffee having all the characteristics of the world-renowned Geisha varietal - in the cup you'll get flavour notes of peach and bergamot, with an intense florality.
