This exotic selection from the Southeast-Asian nation of East Timor exhibits what Asian coffees are famous for - a highly prized full body and nutty chocolate flavors. Shade grown under native Whistling Pine trees, this coffee brews a sweet and indulgent cup. Seventy-three households working on Kailitlau Mountain pool their harvest and select only the highest quality coffee to craft this lot of exceptional sweetness. These remote producers construct their own equipment from gumwood and tin, which they use to remove the coffee bean from the fruit. With these self-made tools and an intense dedication to their craft, the producers of Kailitlau share the beauty of their tropical mountain farms with us.
