Kafferosteriet Koppar

In northwestern Rwanda, the gods are in a good mood. The soil is a nutrient-rich volcanic soil, perfect for cultivating an elegant, stylish coffee. The sun wastes its rays. The rain makes the landscape undulating, green and lush. All this vegetation rewards us with an abundance of aromas. The aftertaste makes this cup unique. It can best be described as the taste that lingers after you have eaten a couple or three mixed pralines from the chocolate box. You feel a creamy nougat, the marzipan from another piece remains and you sense some rum-raisin. Satisfied with the experience, you can choose whether you want to take a couple more pieces - or in our case, top up with another splash in the cup! The small farmers behind this coffee rarely count more than 200 coffee bushes each. It is a team effort that has propelled this coffee and indeed Rwanda's entire coffee industry. Of all coffee produced in the country, more than half is classified as specialty coffee. Fill the cup to the brim for these zealots
