About This Coffee
This Caturra from Finca Bonita Springs is a dry-processed coffee and has a profile full of fruit and sweetness, with flavors of blackberries, blackcurrants, dark cherries, brown sugar, and roses. Bonita Springs is located in Alto Lino, Boquete, and has been owned by the Miró family for 80 years. The farm covers 36 hectares, with an abundance of water as its special characteristic - two rivers, four streams, and two waterfalls, which positively influence the soil chemistry and the flora and fauna. The coffee cherries are hand-harvested at their ripest stage and immediately placed on African beds to dry. There they are slowly dried, constantly turned, over a period of two to three weeks, and then sorted. Great as a fruity filter coffee in the afternoon or as a cappuccino, which is similar to a berry milkshake.
