About This Coffee
As you sip on this coffee, you’ll be taking in the knowledge of many generations of coffee farmers. Years ago, Herminio Perdomo learned how to farm coffee from his father, Don Froilán. Now, his family remains dedicated to carrying on the tradition of producing exceptional coffee. Finca Alto de Los Santos is a medium-sized—18 hectares, or 44 acres—certified organic farm, located in Honduras. It’s filled with numerous varieties of shade trees such as guama, cedar, mahogany, evergreen, peach, and orange. This diverse and complex ecosystem not only shades the coffee trees but also encourages some animals to take up residence! We appreciate the hard work of this incredible family of farmers and their exceptional coffees, like this honey processed coffee that features jammy notes like black cherry and big bold flavors like cacao and honey roasted nuts. We like this coffee so much, we brought it back for a third year.
