About This Coffee
"In a very difficult, stress-filled year for so many producers, José Antonio Ramirez Lima just happened to produce the best coffee we've featured from anywhere in Guatemala in 2020" That's what we wrote last November when we added José's coffee to the menu. It's November again and it's arguably the same message. Another excellent harvest. A bit more fruit this year and the acidity is exceptional to help space it out. José is a 7 year participant in the resistance group in Mataquescuintla and his farm is just north of Alex & Irma's in the municipality of San Miguel.
