Ceremony Coffee Roasters
Annapolis, MD, USA
A flavorful, complex offering from Kenya. This coffee comes from the well-known Kamwangi Coffee Factory on the slopes of Mount Kenya. It has rich volcanic soil, well-distributed rainfall, and moderate temperatures that create ideal growing conditions for great coffee. The processing includes careful hand-picking and sorting of cherries, disc depulping, 24-hour fermentation, and a detailed washing process. The cup profile of this coffee includes notes of black currant, maple, and florals. It is recommended to brew as a single cup, pour over at a 1:17 brew ratio, filtered water at 208-210°F, a medium grind, and a 3-3.5 minute brew cycle.
