This espresso isn't elegant, but bold and chunky! It's fruit forward with a chocolate-like baselayer. This is the second time we have Nicaragua in our assortment. The coffee comes from small farmers in the Dipilito region which is located in the north west corner of the country. It is separated from Honduras by the natural border of Dipilito and Jalapa Cordillera. The final product contains 90% Caturra and 10% Maragogype and Maracaturra. It is natural processed which gives a full and fruity cup. This coffee has an outstanding price/quality ratio. Because of the relatively big volume they produce, and the support from the importer it's possible to produce good quality for a fair price. We roasted this coffee fairly light but developed enough to make it easy to brew. It is rich, sweet and chocolaty with a fruity finish.
