Hometown is great for espresso or drip and is sweet, balanced, and user friendly. We taste cocoa nibs, praline, blackberry in this coffee. Blends offered year round inevitably lead to individual components growing tired and showing signs of age – which means less tasty coffee. Hometown, our user friendly espresso blend, stays fresh throughout the year by using coffees from Colombia as the base of the blend (at ~50%) and components from Ethiopia. The result is a consistently fresh tasting, chocolaty, full-bodied blend with a touch of berries, soft florals, and balanced acidity. Hometown is easy to dial in and amazing for espresso, but works great for drip coffee and cold brew as well. Colombia and Ethiopia are the origins used in Sweet Bloom's Hometown Blend. The coffee from Colombia is the base of the blend (~50%), providing a fresh and sweet base with two harvests per year. The coffee from Ethiopia adds a distinctive taste with its washed and natural selections, contributing to the blend's chocolaty, full-bodied character with hints of berries, soft florals, and balanced acidity.
