Renardo “Nayo” Ovalle Vides follows in his grandfather Jorge’s footsteps, building on his family’s passion for coffee that started back in the late 1950’s. Jorge planted his first farm in 1958 in La Libertad, Huehuetenango. Today, Nayo and his wife Jaqueline, a Q grader, work with a team of coffee professionals to run a total of six farms and manage a state-of-the-art lab in Guatemala City.
