The best high-grown Guatemalan coffees originate in the Antigua and Huehuetenango regions. The rich volcanic soil and longer growing season yields very dense coffees. This outstanding example is superbly balanced, with smoky chocolate notes and a hint of crisp green apple. Grown under the shade of guava, plantain and banana trees, this coffee is fair trade certified.
