Njowa represents the promising flavors of a place and terroir beginning anew. Situated on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya sharing many of the same attributes as the world-famous Nyeri Country, Njowa boasts citrus acidity and stonefruit sweetness set in a structured frame hinting at classic cola. Local producer Haron Wachira has worked to connect consumers with producers for a more consistent, equitable, and relational specialty market. We are excited to be part of this project with Haron and the communities of coffee growers in the Mount Kenya region for years to come.
