Swerl for us is all about connections and love for really good coffee. It all started during a trip to New Zealand where we were completely amazed at how good coffee could be; a good balance between sweetness and acidity, full-bodied but not bitter. A variety of aromas and flavors that only we could have dreamed of. The interest grew the more we started to look into the complex and exciting coffee world. It was somewhere at that point we decided that this is exactly what we are going to do, we thought everyone deserves a great cup of coffee produced in a sustainable way. After going back home our rolling coffee bar started to get shape in our 1972 Mercedes bus. It has now been over five years since we started Swerl and we are excited to keep on growing with you! All our decisions are made based on how we can have a positive influence and starting our own roastery was the next step in this journey. Creating a connection between the producers we work with and our customers, shortening the chain and making it traceable and qualitative as much as we can. We work with coffee producers around the world and follow the coffee season to always be able to deliver as tasty and juicy cup as possible and at the same time following the natural cicle of coffee production in a more sustainable way. Working with only the freshest batches allows us to share vibrant and fun coffee with you. Our micro roastery is located just outside Falkenberg on the west coast of Sweden. Where we roast coffee in small batches in our Giesen W15, creating a unique profile for each coffee. Thank you for being a part of our dream.
