Our journey began in 1857 on the lush slopes of the Western Ghats in Chikkamagalur, Karnataka. Long before this region appeared on any trading map, our great-great grandfather, T B Malle Gowda, discovered the ideal conditions for cultivating the finest Arabica beans. With guidance from the British, he transformed this untouched land into a thriving coffee plantation. His dedication to perfecting the craft laid the foundation for what has become a century-long family tradition.
