A love of coffee, an appreciation for those who grow this incredible crop, a passionate vision and a leap of faith was the inspiration for David to create Bun Coffee in Byron Bay. From that very first roast in 2005 to today, our love and excitement for the coffee industry hasn’t wavered, only increased (if that’s possible?) As a boutique, specialty roaster we source the highest quality beans to handcraft and roast our blends and single origins to our specific recipe ensuring the consistent taste and quality for which we’re known and loved. From the beginning we have always committed to sourcing beans that are Organic, Fair Trade, or Rainforest Alliance. For us the question of sustainability is a case of ‘why wouldn’t you’? Our takeaway cups and lids are also fully compostable and biodegradable. It’s our bit in the ongoing support and protection of the environment and people that are at the forefront of the industry we all love so much.
