We began as a small roaster back in 2013, roasting only as a hobby. It goes on and on for a few years intending to be a small hobbyist simply selling coffee. After some traction and good conversation, we decided to open up doors in a downtown location—in the center of Pittsburgh. We believed that we needed to go into a place with the most amount of people from many different walks of life that could come in and experience our mission. With Pittsburgh being the biggest city this side of the state, 309 Smithfield Street would be our flagship location. Creative exists to Create community from seed to cup. No matter what we do or where we go, our foundation is people. Creativity is the core of our community.
