Ripe coffee cherries were picked from one of the highest blocks at the estate, where they have an exceptionally high degree brix (sugar content by volume). This gives the coffee an aroma of dried fruits, raisins and cranberries, along with a sweet and syrupy mouthfeel which is heightened when brewed as a Pour Over or using an AeroPress. This light roast has complex, floral notes and a tea-like aftertaste with a lingering sweetness which comes through really well as the brew cools down. This medium bodied coffee is enjoyed best with the Pour Over or AeroPress.
