PERC Coffee
Savannah, GA, USA
This coffee comes to us from a small mill in the Pegasing district of Takengon, in Sumatra's coffee-famous Aceh region. The mill serves several small coffee producers within the Pantan Musara villages. Several years ago, these producers were dislocated from their homes and land because of a natural disaster, and they rebuilt their lives and farms with a new focus on coffee. As a result, the mill produces washed and natural coffees, unlike most Sumatran receiving and processing centers. We are stoked to offer the fantastic Sumatra Pantan Musara again. This natural processed coffee caught us by surprise last season, and we've been talking about it ever since. We were even more stoked to learn that this year's crop tastes just as amazing as last year's. Effervescent and funky acidity leads you into a rich, citrusy, sweet coffee that lingers with complex herbal and tea-like notes on the finish. Brew it up in your Clever for that extra heft of syrupy goodness, or let those florals shine in a v60!
