We purchased this coffee through our partners at Osito, and it is a great example of the complexity and vibrancy that a high-quality washed coffee can have. When Juan was younger he had worked at the farm as a farmworker, and in 1988 he was able to buy the farm of its previous owner. He has since then managed the 17 ha property and focused meticulously on coffee production. Juan picks his coffee only when fully ripe, it is then pulped and wet fermented for 36 hours. It is a classical washed coffee that truly represents the excellence of great work behind it.
