In the heart of El Salvador is Valle de Oro, a coffee treasure that embodies the richness of the Salvadoran coffee tradition. This coffee is grown with love and dedication by Miguel Antonio Villavicencio and his family, and is a testament to perseverance and commitment to sustainability and ethics in coffee production. The natural process applied to Valle de Oro beans gives rise to a unique sensory experience, from which notes of black cherry, caramel, milk chocolate and a touch of black tea emerge. For this coffee, we chose an omni roast profile, which, due to its versatility, offers a nuanced experience in every sip. El Salvador, immersed in a rich coffee tradition, is the perfect setting for Valle de Oro. The farm, which bears the same name, is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, this location guarantees the slow maturation of the coffee cherries, resulting in an exceptional flavor profile. Valle de Oro is not just coffee; It is a mix of tradition, sustainability and respect for the community and the land. MAV Coffee, the Valle de Oro manufacturer, strives to ensure sustainable practices in all its work. Thus, they dispense with harmful insecticides, using instead techniques that are friendly to the local fauna, with which beneficial insects and microorganisms proliferate among the native plants of their soil. On the farm, they have made the work of the collectors easier with well-designed paths that avoid long and unnecessary trips. Its innovative pruning techniques in thirds maximize the quality of the coffee and ensure production: one third of the farm constantly produces exceptional coffee, the fruit of mature plants. Another third produces good coffee, from young plants and the last third is in the growth phase. Valle de Oro is not just coffee; It is an invitation to savor the flavors of El Salvador while supporting ethical and sustainable practices, a story worth sharing.
