Ferreira coffee comes from the SapucaĂ Valley, in Brazil, which is located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. The coffee tradition has been a fundamental axis in the history of the Ferreira family. For more than 100 years and over five generations, they have developed and transmitted knowledge about coffee production and the particularities of doing it in the Mantiqueira de Minas region. Although the family has been linked to coffee production for many years, it was not until Mauro Mendes Ferreira acquired a farm that they were able to fulfill their dream of growing their own coffee. Mauro was very fond of that land, since he used to cross it on horseback every day to go to school. Currently, Eduardo Ferreira de Sousa is the main producer in the SapucaĂ Valley and the head of the family farm. In recent years, he has combined his family's heritage and legacy with innovative practices to pursue ecological preservation. Brazilian coffee is known for its mild and sweet flavor, with hints of chocolate and dried fruit. Ferreira coffee, in particular, has a distinctive cup profile, with flavors of milk chocolate, roasted hazelnut, papaya and caramel, coming together in a balanced and complex blend. We carefully roast these beans for espresso preparations, which provides body and creaminess on the palate, with a velvety texture and a long flavor.
