Kirimahiga Coffee Factory, established in 1998, unites 781 smallholder farmers in Mathioya, about 200 kilometers north of Nairobi. At 1700 m, this coffee features classic Kenyan varietals grown in rich volcanic soil, cool temperatures, and seasonal rains. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, carefully sorted, and washed in clean stream water. Sun-dried on raised beds, the coffee is then hulled, graded, and milled on-site. This light-medium roast delivers a refined Kenyan profile with vanilla cream sweetness, blackcurrant depth, and a tart cherry finish aka bright, balanced, and complex.
