About This Coffee
Note: We will have a series of nano-lots from Thailand coming out over the next few months. This coffee is limited to 100 bags. Produced by Nui and Aoy Intakad of Doi Saket, these cherries were harvested from the Mae Jam region of Lampang. Their anaerobic in tank fermentation process was done at Doi Saket washing station owned by the Intakad Family. Nui and Aoy produced the first Thai coffee we ever featured back in 2020. Since then, we have offered coffee from them every year. Last year Ply took a trip back to Thailand and got to visit with them, bringing their own coffee that we roasted back to Nui Intakad & Aoy Jaisooksern to taste. Nui Intakad & Aoy Jaisooksern are a young couple, who had quit their white collar jobs in the city to come back to their parents' coffee farm 6 years ago. Nui is 34 and is an engineer by trade, while Aoy is 32 and is an accountant by trade.
