About This Coffee
If idyllic terroir wasn't enough, Kenya's meticulous cherry harvest and processing puts their coffee in a league of its own. Kiandu is a shining example of their labor's fruits: incredibly clean with sparkling acidity not far from that of a bubbly rosΓ©. Have we grabbed your attention yet? There's more. In addition to cup quality, Kenya puts emphasis on quality of life, through advanced cooperative networks. Members of the Kiandu Cooperative receive assistance in market access and selling, as well as pre-financed services such as medical, school, and farm inputs. While the complexity of this coffee would allow us to go on for days, we especially love its syrupy mouthfeel, floral honey sweetness, and juicy flavors of blackberry and white grape.
